Cookie Policy

What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to site operators.

How We Use Cookies

Draftli uses strictly necessary cookies by default. With your explicit consent, we additionally use a small number of optional cookies for advertising measurement (Google Ads conversion tracking) so we can understand which campaigns bring creators to Draftli. For privacy-friendly, aggregated usage measurement we use Plausible Analytics, a cookieless service — it does not set cookies or use localStorage on your device, regardless of your advertising-measurement choice.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics to understand aggregate, anonymous usage of Draftli — pageviews, product events (such as project creation, payment completion, and subscription activation), real-user performance metrics, and aggregate revenue figures. Plausible is hosted in the EU and is fully cookieless: no cookies, no localStorage, no cross-site tracking, no personal profiles. Raw IP addresses are not stored. Learn more at plausible.io/privacy.

Advertising Measurement (Optional)

With your explicit consent, Draftli uses Google Ads conversion tracking to measure which marketing campaigns lead creators to subscribe. The cookies listed below are set on your device only after you click "Accept" on our cookie banner or allow ad measurement from the preferences below. You can withdraw your consent at any time and the cookies will no longer be set on future page loads.

For more information about how Google uses these cookies, see Google's advertising and cookies policy.

You can change your advertising-measurement consent at any time from this page or from your account settings.

Browser Storage

Draftli stores a single small key in your browser's localStorage — draftli.consent.v1 — to remember your advertising-measurement consent choice. It is strictly necessary, is not a cookie, and is never sent to a server.

On a review page, Draftli stores draftli_author_nameto remember the display name you type so you don't re-enter it on your next comment; it is strictly necessary, stays in your browser, and is never used for tracking.

Draftli also stores draftli_author_token — a random value stored so you can edit or delete the comments you post on a review page; it contains no name or personal information, is strictly necessary, and only a one-way hashed form is ever stored on our servers.

On pages where Draftli redirects you back from Stripe (after checkout or subscription) we also use sessionStorage briefly to avoid double-counting analytics events on browser refresh. Keys are prefixed plausible.fired., contain only the value 1, are scoped to the current browser tab, and are never sent to a server.

Third-Party Cookies

When you interact with Stripe's payment forms on Draftli, Stripe may set its own cookies for fraud prevention and payment processing purposes. These cookies are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.

When you sign in, sign up, or submit a comment on a review page, Cloudflare Turnstile may set strictly-necessary cookies on challenges.cloudflare.com to protect against bots and abuse. These cookies are governed by Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

Managing Cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Please note that disabling essential cookies may prevent you from using certain features of the Service, such as staying signed in.

Most browsers allow you to:

  • View what cookies are stored and delete them individually.
  • Block third-party cookies.
  • Block cookies from specific sites.
  • Block all cookies.
  • Delete all cookies when you close your browser.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
